Roy Leslie, Chief Operating Officer
Roy Leslie began his financial services career in 1967 at J.C. Bradford while still an undergraduate. Following his graduation and for more than three decades, he held supervisory roles at Bradford in all operations areas, including new accounts, P&S, options, securities processing, margin and credit, futures and commodities, as well as in computer center processing and general services administration. He was senior manager in operations and an investment limited partner until 2000 when J.C. Bradford was purchased by Paine Webber. He then joined Scott & Stringfellow as managing director of clearing operations.
Roy has served on the advisory board of the ABA Securities, Brokerage & Trust Committee and has chaired the finance committee for a number of church and school boards. He is an active member of the SIFMA Operations Roundtable.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville. Roy recently graduated from the Mastering Leadership Dynamics™ workshop of Farr Associates, Inc. Roy’s securities licenses include Series 7, 9,10, 27, and 30.
Roy and his wife, Lynn, have three children and five grandchildren.
